Kaki has recently moved to Forgotten Hollow, a city said to be suited for bachelor vampires, such as himself.
His new house may not be a castle, but it'll do, for now.

He barely has the time to enjoy the novel he's been trying to finish, before the doorbell's screetching tells him that there's someone at the door.
Huh, Kaki wasn't expecting any visitors. He's a
loner who knows absolutely nobody.

It's a fellow vampire called Caleb.
Well, hello handsome! Would you like a present?

It's a bag of plasma of course. Who can say no to that?
Caleb was so moved by the thoughtful present that he gifted Kaki with a rose. Aww, how sweet! ❤️

Kaki, who've never had any romances of any kind, tries to flirt the pants off of Caleb whom he finds very goodlooking. "Do you want to be whoohoo partners?"

Since Caleb didn't say no, Kaki became even bolder.
"I know we just met, but wouldn't it be great if we had a child together"
Kaki honestly hadn't expected that to work, but Caleb seemed up for it.

And, the first "whoohoo". This will surely be a night to remember…
"The house may be shabby, and have odd smells, but this coffin is very comfy"

Ups, didn't expect my coffin to spit me out on top off you. Not complaining, though. "Let me help you up ❤️"

"That's okay… because, I actually have to go home now", Caleb tells Kaki with a smile on his face.
It's a bit difficult to get a read on this guy, cuz whatever happens he keeps smiling.

Go home….? (Yeah, right!)
"You know how we talked about having a child together… We should make doubly sure. Just in case."

"Now wasn't this a pleasant experience, huh. Whyever would you want to leave my side?"
In agreement, Caleb decided Kaki was going to be a good friend from now on.

Seems this guy doesn't have much for standards, now does he?

"Yeah, and now that we're such good friends… how about you spend the night?"

And like a fool, Caleb says yes to that.

Things are going so well that Kaki is feeling playful and bold enough to pop the next big question…

"Say… would you…?"

And score! They have just decided to become boyfriends.

Caleb may have rejected Kaki's first offer of marriage though, on the grounds that they barely know each other, but thankfully he doesn't mind teaching Kaki on how to upgrade his vampire status.
"And this is how the thrall works, darling."

"Oh, gosh… may the ground swallow me whole. How could Caleb reject my second offer of marriage?"
Following that very awkward moment, Kaki suggest they once again, try for a baby.
It seems to become quite the recurring theme with this guy.
Since Caleb doesn't say no to that, he must really want to become a father.
Or, he simply thinks of that as the lesser of two evils.

"Oh, the mansion across the street is YOURS!"
Kaki didn't know what he was expecting, it most definitely wasn't that.
But it does get the wheels in his head turning.
"You know something. Seeing as we're boyfriends, it would be great if we join households…" And don't give me that look, I'm not a golddigger or anything!
I do have a reason, a VERY valid one! I just… gimme a mo' and I'll give it to you.
"Your house will be better for future offsprings."
Yes, that IS believable isn't it?
And if no, say you are caring enough not to leave your kids in this dump.
Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Caleb thought about it for a moment, but eventually decided that it would be better if they live together.
He feels pretty close to Kaki, he just ain't ready for marriage yet, and he can't quite tell what this white-eyed vampire is after.
His heart, or just his money.
What do you want of me, Kakistos?
Perhaps after they've gotten to know each other a bit better, he'd feel secure enough in their relationship to accept a proposal.

Meanwhile, Kaki still feels dejected.
He might've gotten a better place to live in, and that sister of Caleb's seems nice enough, although he doesn't really wish to get to know her, but the fact that Caleb doesn't want him still hurts.
Perhaps he should've asked him after another day spent together, but he couldn't help himself.
He really like him, and he's sure that he could love the guy past this "first crush" phase.
But of no use, is it, when Caleb said no.
He doesn't want me! He doesn't want to marry me!
The thoughts doesn't really help, and he feels like crying, not to mention he's starting to get hungry as he's already run out of the plasma packs Caleb had given him the previous night.

It is while he keeps thinking how his boyfriend doesn't love him, that he comes across an elderly man.
The scent alone tells him this is a human being. Well, at least he'll get to feed.
"Say, would you mind if I'll have some of your blood? I'm feelin' a bit peckish, you see," he manage to say, sniffling.
Perhaps this Dennis Kim is feeling sorry for the vampire, whatever the case may be, he doesn't hesistate to respond affirmatively.
"Yes, sure."
Moved by Dennis's gesture, he offers the man a rose in gratitude.
"Thank you, so much. It was just what I needed."
Dennis smiles kindly at the vampire, whom, he has to admit, is very goodlooking.
"Thank you, how thoughtful."
At this moment, Kaki doesn't think of it as a betrayal of Caleb's trust, but more like "something that happened" and kisses Dennis.

Things are moving fast now!
Kaki decided just having one boyfriend wasn't enough.
To celebrate this, the new couple decided to have some quality time together in the bed hidden in the mansion's backyard where Caleb won't be able to see them.
Clearly, Kaki knows this is wrong, at least on some level, but what can you expect of him?
He is noncommittal, for a reason, and he craves affection.

Caleb doesn't have a clue that his boyfriend cheated on him at first opportunity given, and you can't help but feel sorry for him.
He seems to be a good guy, and deserves so much better.

Kaki is satisfied with this new level he'd reached with Dennis, but he doesn't feel like staying in bed for a snuggle.
That was pleasant, but now I want to kiss Caleb

While he's showering Caleb with affections, he receives a text message from Dennis saying he liked his time here but have to go home.

Kaki rolls his eyes, and doesn't bother replying to that.
His inner thoughts is more like Yeah, yeah, away with you. I'm busy with my first boyfriend whom I still like better.

Kaki's expecting! Due to his joy from this, he promptly gets down on one knee to propose… to Dennis!
Really did not see THAT coming, but perhaps he's come to realize Caleb will keep rejecting his offer and decided to save himself from eventual heartbeak.
What Dennis doesn't know is that Kaki so far sees him as a "portable fridge" that is nice to kiss, and was planning to kill him in the event of him rejecting his offer of marriage.
Dennis thankfully said yes, but perhaps on some level he sensed the danger lurking in Kaki's eyes.

Will be interesting to see how this will unfold, as Kaki is already showing, Dennis doesn't want kids, nor have they tried for any.
Will he still be tricked into thinking he's the father, despite the fact it obviously is Caleb?
And how will Caleb react now that his boyfriend and "mother/papa" of his unborn child is getting married to someone else?
Kaki!! Why do you do this to yourself??

After Kaki shares the news (about the pregnancy, not infidelity) to the Vatore siblings, Caleb's in such a good mood that he decides that he and Kaki will become best friends.
Kaki doesn't feel guilty enough to call off his engagement, but he knows having a big wedding where Caleb will be forced to attend is a bit much, even for him.
So he and Dennis have a private ceremony in the front yard, just the two of them.

"Now that we're officially husband and husband, mind giving me some blood as a wedding gift? I know you didn't buy anything for me."
No, he wasn't trying to go for a guilttripping route here, but he was hungry, and his "portable fridge" is standing right in front of him.
Dennis shrugs his shoulders, because it's true, he didn't think they would elope and had no time to buy something for his new husband, and offers his wrist.

For those who've ever visited the werewolf communities knows that Mortimer Goth is a vampire.
What perhaps is a lesser known fact is that he was actually born human.
Do you wish to know what happened? Short answer is: He ran across Caleb.
The longer answer it that Caleb aspires to be a good vampire, and as such he always asks for a drink first.
Who knew that such a docile guy would take a rejection that badly?
It appears his policy to nay-sayers is to turn them into vampires.
Which is shocking, actually, since Caleb was turned into a vampire against his will in his early childhood.
Shortly after, he tried to have better luck with the old lady Lewis.
After all, she looks kind, how could she say no?
Apparently, she had no problem doing that. Ergo…

Caleb's sister Lilith was having a few snacks on the way home from… wherever she had been.
No questions asked, no questions given…

Moving on, Caleb can feel how the little one is kicking.
"How extraordinary, sweetums, a life is growing in there!"
"Yes, I know…." Kaki smiles tiredly at his boyfriend, but feeling pretty good about himself. Until-!

Caleb has decided that he does want to marry Kaki, but not feeling bold enough to ask, hoping that Kaki will ask for a third time.
It must be karma that this comes at the same time Kaki's secret wish is to break off this relationship.
He might like Caleb, even love him, but he feels he's been having no time for himself and as a lonewolf, he needs to be left alone for a while.
And, remember the part of being noncommittal? Yeah, that's exactly why this is happening.

Will Kaki leave Caleb? And what does that mean for their child, and most importantly, who gets to keep the house? (Certainly won't be you, Caleb…)
Drama, drama, drama, I friggin' hate drama!

You think it ends there, right? heck, no!
Dennis might've been treated like a fool, and he can admit that he might've been too trusting, but it turns out that he has noticed the lingering touches and bordering on lecherous looks his husband and the "roommate" Caleb has given each other.
Which prompts him into wondering whether there are more to it beyond the "we're best friends and naturally affectionate" excuse Kaki has given him when he brought it up.
He did know his husband can be flirtatious, but he didn't think he would give roses to other men.
This marriage is now on shaky grounds!

"I don't friggin' care that you're feeling too hot!
You dare accuse me of being unfaithful in such a roundaboutway, you ain't getting into this house until I say so!"

With that, Kaki shoves Dennis and slam the door shut.
Admittedly, the summers in Forgotten Hollow can get hellishly hot, and forcing Dennis to stay outside for the approx 8 hrs it's already been might be a bit much, but he's not feeling overly sympathetic right now.
Plus, he's still feeling lousy from the morning sickness, so it's only just if his husband gets to suffer too.
Dennis keeps knocking at the door, hoping Kaki will change his mind.
"Please, I'm sorry! You're right, it's all my fault! (It really isn't but…) Let me in…"
His pleading falls onto deaf ears.

After reading his vampire novel, and browsing through the web for more information about his kind, Kaki has now reached the rank of Minor Vampire.
His celebration is cut somewhat short by the weak call from his husband who appears to be… dying?

Umm, yeah, that was definitely a cry for help, and Kaki is in no rush to come to Dennis's aid.
Kaki needs to take a nap. Not much time left before he'll give birth, and so, needs to put his baby's needs first.
Sorry Dennis! You're going to have to die on your own.
Why? Because with this, Kaki will be a widower, and free to remarry if he so wishes (and he so wishes).

Interesting though, how Caleb seems more torn up about this death than Kaki is.
Or perhaps, he's crying from seeing his boyfriend flirt with the Reaper, and those are happy tears.

It's not as though Kaki expected that to work, it's just that he really didn't want Dennis to come back to life, and he had heard the rumor that if you try to ask for people to be spared while flirting, the Reaper will definitely turn you down.
"Well, it's alright that you don't date, but do you have to laugh at me like that? I'll have you know I'm a great catch!"

Now that it's official that Dennis is well and truly gone, Kaki feels relief.
No chain that is marriage is tying him down any longer, and oh, does Caleb look stunning like that, with tears rolling down his cheeks.
"Well, hellooo 🫦".

Thank you for stopping by, Reaper, but unless you'd like to join in for a threesome (you are werlcome to it, but I have a feeling you don't want to), you better scram.

"This bed's always been here? It feels so comfy," Caleb says, in between kisses.
"Well, yeah…" Kaki murmurs, not wanting to mention the fact that it's where he and Dennis' used to get busy, or that Dennis practically died in it.

One would think that the tombstone a few feet away would be telling, but as it apparently is not, Kaki feels too kind to break Caleb's bubble.
After all, he didn't take Caleb for his brains.

Meanwhile, Lilith pays respect to the departed, and is rewarded for her efforts.

The morning after, Kaki does feel sad about the death of his husband.
Maybe Dennis wasn't good for much other than beeing a portable fridge, but he was Kaki's portable fridge.
Not even casting hallucinations on an unsuspecting pedestrian was enough to raise his mood.
"Caleb, I'm sad! Hold me!"

Some smooches later, Kaki's mood was raised enough to… (oh my gosh) propose!
Kaki feels very inspired from this, Caleb… well, very amorous, and Lilith keeps playing the pipe organ like a zombie.
Your brother just got engaged, and you're just going to sit there?
Fine, but personalitywise? You kinda suck.

Meanwhile, Mortimer's time as a human is up!
Which Kaki and Caleb celebrates by whoohooing as bats.

How come Caleb keep running into those annoying nay-sayers?
Once again, he turned an unsuspecting sim into a vampire, but this time, he decided to forcefully feed first, his aspire be damned.

Since he wasn't feeling too hot now that he'd taken blood by force, he swiftly gave that "siring bite" at Geoffrey's neck, and looking rather pleased about it.
Geoffrey just looked ill.

Sensing Geoffrey's growing antipathy towards him, Caleb decided this calls for a fullout brawl, and with much enthusiasm, threw the first punch.
Less than 10 minutes later, we have a winner, and it is not Caleb.
The result from this is that his and Geoffrey's relationship status has improved.
In a negative fashion, that is.
Satisfied with his victory, Geoffrey starts to work out.
Caleb may have lost the fight, but he is at least happy about it.

On his way home, Caleb discovered a plasma tree, and harvested all fruits available.

It was pretty much a given that once he was almost home, he'd run into Geoffrey, again.
The allure he'd put on shortly before that didn't work much with this future enemy, but Caleb had fun still, making fun of Geoffrey's choice in attire.
"Like, was it your mama that dressed you? Really? Well, one wouldn't know by looking at you!"

Aahh, I feel much better about myself now.
Yes, it is a good feeling to make others feel bad just so you yourself will feel good.
Let me guess, you were a closeted bully in high school, Caleb. 🙄

Whistling a merry tune from the 60's tv series The Addams Family, he unlocks the door and step inside the hallway.
"Honey, I'm home!"
The first thing Caleb does when he sees his fiancé (we're getting married! we're getting married!), is to kiss him with so much passion you'd think they'd burn to dust.
Caleb must feel really bold this midday, because he keeps flirting with Kaki, and decide to give him a present.

I just can't get over how cute Kaki is at this moment, just look at the unbridled joy in his face.

Kaki loved the present, and gave Caleb one in return.
"Uhh, Caleb..? I don't feel too hot right now."
And with those few words uttered, their moment together is forever lost, because, shocking absolutely nobody, Kaki is now in labor!

Yeah, sorry, kiddo, you'll have to wait. Papa's too hungry to give birth atm.
Nice going, Kaki. Really. You love making things as difficult as possible, don't you.
Can you hurry up, though, unless you want to give birth at home

Maybe it is jitters, but for whatever reason, Kaki doesn't feel like going to the hospital no matter how much pain he is in.

"You know, I never finished this story…"

So, you want to read a book now despite of being in labor.
Enough, get your undead butt to the hospital. Pronto!

Someone's muttering in the line makes Caleb do a doubletake. Is that Geoffrey?

Indeed it is, and Caleb's mood take a nosedive.

"Well, too bad then if you don't feel too good about your upcoming vampiric transformation," Caleb scoffs.
"My fiancé actually matters to me. Which YOU don't."

"Caleb… I'm nervous."
Yes, you can tell by the unhappy look on Kaki's face that it has now fully hit him that this pregancy is coming to an end, making the whole situation feel daunting.

"Congratulations, Mr Aurelius. It's a girl."
At first, Kaki doesn't register just what the nurse is telling him.
"Oh. I have a daughter? How extraordinary."
It doesn't feel real until he is holding his baby girl in his arms for the first time.

"Well, hurry the hell up!" A voice booms from the reception desk, and frightens Datura in doing so.
"I missed my daughter's birth because of you!"
Yep, that's Caleb alright, and truly given the poor staff a piece of his mind.
Are you sure you want to marry this guy, Kaki?
He seems to have even more personal issues than you do.

Due to the hospital staff being uncooperative, not only did Caleb miss his daughter's birth, he is now banned from entering the premises.
Nice work, Caleb. Really!
And you do realize of course, that Kaki will have to give birth at home from now on because of your actions?
Why did you have to yell at the receptionist, and cuss at the guards?

Datura is despite of everything happy to finally meet her father.
Oh, that little button nose, and gummy smile. Caleb's heart is melting.
"Daddy will protect you. Always."

Since Datura's been born. and Kaki feels more like himself again, the next step is obviously to marry Caleb!
Sure, the guy has been rather hard to get a read on lately, and Kaki's unsure of Caleb's personality, but he's willing to make this relationship work.
For his daughter, if nothing else.

First they needed to decide the place, as neither Kaki nor Caleb wanted to get married at their own house.
"It would cheapen it", is Caleb's reasoning.
"…" Kaki humms and nods at the right moments, but inwardly he's thinking that he simply don't want to elope like he did with his ex-husband (whom Caleb somehow still don't know anything about).
Vladislaus Straud does have a mcuh bigger house than Caleb and Kaki, but Caleb dislikes Vlad so that's out of the question.
After much consideration, they settle for Magnolia Blossom park.

Then, the guests…
Now, the problem with Caleb not leaving the house much, and Kaki not being a people-person, is that… well, thy don't really know any people to invite for their wedding and they need three guests.
"I could invite the nurse that helped me while giving birth," Kaki suggests.
She does turn up for the wedding, so, yay..?

"Vladislaus Straud," Caleb mutters, with a frown. "What about him, honey?"
"With him, we'd only need one more guest…"
"But you don't like him. Why would you want him at what's supposed to be our day?"

That is true, Caleb has a rather strong disliking for Vlad, as does most sims in Forgotten Hollow, but he's willing to ignore that for the time being.
"If you're sure…" Kaki says, unsure.

After going through their pitifuly short list of people they know, the couple finally have enough guests, caterers etc to get married.

The wedding party is doing fairly well, considering Caleb and Kaki spent as little simoleons as it was possible.

"Eh, did we invite your sister?" Kaki asks noticing her among the guests watching the proceeding.
"Well, too late to send her home now, I suppose…"
Ouch! Lilith hasn't made much of an impact on Kaki.

Know what happens when you have a wedding out in the public
Even enemies may be found as attendees. 😐

Even so, despite seeing Geoffrey at the park, Caleb focuses solely on Kaki.

With a kiss and rings exchanged, Kaki and Caleb are now finally husband and husband. 💘

Since this went off without a hitch, they 'd be able to enjoy the first day of the rest of their lives together…. right?

Of course not!
What goes around, comes around, they say, and an unexpecting wedding guest is called Karma.

While Caleb may have discovered the secret of protecion against the harsh rays of the sun, the same cannot be said for his husband who promptly starts to run a high fever.
Remember your ex-husband, Dennis? Yeah, now you know how he felt.
Well, at least you got one child and two marriages during your very short life, Kaki.

Now, the groom has noticed his new husband's dead.
Poor Caleb, became a widower on his weddding. Not many's got that for bragging rights!

It gets even better….
Couldn't figure out why the Reaper took his sweet time in listening to Caleb's sorrows, and as it turns out, Kaki wasn't the first vampire to die during the afterparty.
The despicable Vladislaus kicked the bucket right before Kaki did.
So, this could be considered a happy memory to look back on for Caleb.

"Nope, sorry, no take-backsies. He's dead. Now, move on."
Caleb's pleading fell onto deaf ears, and it looks like he's going to have to get used to this.

NO!!!

Caleb's not particularly strong, for a master vampire, but he has enough knowledge about the occult to turn back time just the once.
The downside to this, is that Vladislaus will also be resurrected, but he thinks it's a small price to pay, if he gets Kaki back.

This time, Caleb has enough sense to end the wedding a few hours early, and make sure Kaki gets home safely.

The day ends with a random sim's transformation.
I'm not sure which member of the Aurelius/Vatore household sired him, but my bets are on Lilith.
The kid looks to be her type.

Leaving the memory of Kaki's resurrection behind them, the happy couple spends some quality time together with their daughter, Datura.

"Datums", is what Kaki is calling her, and it certainly has a cuter ring to it than what Datura does, especially when considering that she was named after a poisonous plant that is used for witchcraft.

"Since your fathers are being busy with… something you're too young to hear about, I suppose it's my duty as aunt to feed you."
Well, how thoughtful.

Later on, when Caleb's starting to feel peckish, he runs across Mrs Despicable, aka Nancy LandGraab.
He's never spoken to Nancy before, but as she's married to Geoffrey, she's simply despicable by association.
Caleb still thinks that it's worth a shot, and asks for her blood.
"Just a little bit."
Surprisingly, and yes, everyone's surprised, she thinks it over and then nods.
"As long as you don't turn me into a vampie like you did my husband, then sure."
So Geoffrey's a tattletale, which doesn't come as a surprise at this point.

While this is going on, Kaki was keeping a careful watch over Datura.
Hmm, she's sleeping. Now it's time to go…
With that thought, Kaki flew to the forest, loving the thunderstorm.
During his flight, Kaki noticed a lone human standing still in a glade, looking as though he'd been struck by lightning.
Well, I AM starting to get hungry…
Kaki found the guy's blood to be especially delicious and drank deeply until his stomach was full.
Burping, he began walking home, leaving the man who'd passed out onto the grass, without a single thought.

What Kaki didn't know then was that he's in for a couple of days with stuff happening he rather someone else had to deal with.

Mhmm, yeah, this is totally Lilith's fault.
You see, since she's never going to achieve her aspiration (she wants to become a werewolf), she's been dabbling in the dark arts instead, and somehow has managed to bring Dennis back as a ghost.
Won't this be a nice surprise for her brother-in-law. 🙄

Caleb's not particularly fazed to see Dennis's spookiness, but he feels no amusement over the dishwasher leaking water, and he also doesn't like to mop floors.
Something he does like to do is thrall people, and who says ghosts are immune to Caleb's will of iron?
"Look into my eyes, Dennis. You. Must. Clean!"

The ghost swiftly mops the floor, and then goes to the bathroom because the tub is far from being spotless.
When he was alive, one of Dennis's traits was neat, so it sort of makes sense that Caleb's turning him into a household ghost for cleaning purposes.
Kaki is very glad to see that his first husband has returned to him, even if it's in this form, and naturally the only thing on his mind is chatting Dennis up.

"You remember we were married before you died, right?
Well, how about we start over? 🫦"

Dennis may be dead, but he is … still a fool for love. 🤦‍♂️

Kaki was in the mood for love, and after whoohooing with Caleb as bats,
he went to see what Dennis was up to.
The dizzy ghost was still haunting the bathroom, and so Kaki kissed him.

"Uh, is it normal feeling nauseous after kissing your ghost boyfriend?"

That would be a no Kaki, and yes… it probably IS exactly what you're afraid of, and you know this wouldn't be happening if you and your husband didn't insist on doing it wherever and whenever without some kind of birth control.
You've made your own bed, Kaki, so now lie in it.

Meanwhile, Caleb has taken a rather large bite out of someone, and dismissing the slumped over form, he proceeds showing a random pedestrian baby pictures.
He is one proud father, after all. ♡

Something that Caleb and me both has been looking forward to, to see the transformation of Mr Despicable, aka Geoffrey, is finally happening.

Dunno what it is, just love seeing sims turn into other beings, be it werewolves or vampires.
But I'm partial to vamps in general, so… 😇🧛🏼‍♂️

And, now to be a bearer of bad news, Kaki informs Caleb about the unexpected pregnancy, while Caleb's mind is definitely not focused on what Kaki's telling him.
Of course Caleb's solution to this is to have a quickie in the coffin.

Now that his pregnancy is showing, Kaki is starting to feel, well, depressed isn't the right word precisely, but he's certainly not as ecstatic as his husband.
They already have their hands full with one baby in the house, are they really prepared to welcome another?
Kaki feel doubt.

Caleb tries to make Kaki feel better, by offering a massage.
It releases some tension from his shoulders, but it's only temporary.

You can't tell by looking at him when he lays his ghostly hands on top of Kaki's round stomach trying to feel the unborn baby kick their feet, or even when they share a passionate kiss, but something is going on with Dennis. 🤔

It might be because of Kaki's pregnancy, that Dennis has realized that Kaki has moved on, and he's not happy about it.
Well, nobody's enjoying this relationship, it seems.

"I don't think we're right for each other. You a ghost, me a vampire, just wouldn't work out"

Which only leaves for one single option, and the keyword is single.

At the exact moment Kaki's breaking up with Dennis, Caleb ignores his resentment in order to make a friend out of Vlad.
Not that he WANTS to, mind you, it's just that he needs more friends in order to achieve next rank as a vampire. A self-serving guy, Caleb.

Oh, look! It's Datura's birthday, so this is just perfect timing.
The day after Datura's birth, Kaki married Caleb.
Now, Kaki broke up a relationship.
It's like every time Datura's a cause for celebration, Kaki's relationships either goes to next new level or straight to hell. 😂

Kaki's reasoning for this is a bit like "My baby girl is 1 year old! Best way to celebrate is to cut all ties with The Repulsive Worm, aka soon to be ex-boyfriend Dennis. I KNEW there was a reason kissing you made me want to throw up!"

And because Kaki isn't going to put up with Dennis's attitude any longer, he resorts to the classics. Throwing a drink in his face.

"Well, the way you were running your gob, I thought you were feeling thirsty, dearie", Kaki says sweetly, with eyes shining of contempt.

"Eh, what are you doing here," Caleb interjects, when he notices the tension between his soulmate and the dead person that had run out of his uses, "go away."

Dennis has no choice but to leave the room, not happy about it in the least.
Kaki's feeling his love for Caleb grow tenfold.
"My hero!"
Kaki rewards his husband for getting rid of Dennis that fast.

Gasp! Dennis took his anger out on Datura's dollhouse!
How friggin dares he?!

Kaki is VERY angry, and like every good parent would, he steps outside for a bit to exact his revenge on Dennis the poltergeist.

And he's off to never-ever-come-back-land!
To make doubly sure nobody (like his SIL) would be able to bring him back, Kaki's smashed the tombstone to smithereens.

Which Kaki is happy about, enough so that he kisses Caleb when he next sees him.
No time for celebration, though, because less than 12 hours later after that successful exorcism, Kaki's about to give birth to their second bundle of joy.

Since Caleb's still banned from the hospital, Kaki had to give birth at home.
Both father and son's doing just fine.

Take a look Caleb, the heir to the family line's finally arrived.

Kaki is taking a welldeserved nap after all the excitement.

Datura reaches infancy, her first trait is cautious, which you can almost tell from just looking at her.
Since Kaki is still asleep, Caleb stops dancing, in favor of bottlefeeding Datura. Datura knows how to crawl already!

And here, Caleb needs to brush up his fatherly skills.
Datura tries to go 'night-night' which she CAN'T do while you're dancing.
Put her in her crib, will you?
Meanwhile, Markos is crying for attention.

Kaki couldn't stay asleep while that was going on.
"How are you, Markos, sweetie? Hungry, perhaps."
Hmm, you better check up on your daughter as well, Kaki…

Yup, like suspected, Datura is crying because her brother is crying.
"Hold on, Datums, papa just need to feed your brother first."

Taking Datura in his arms, Kaki tries to comfort the sad girl.
"Papa's tired, and hungry, but he'll put your needs first,little girl.
So please don't cry anymore."

Following that, Kaki reads Datura a bedtime story, and drinks a plasma fruit.

"Caleb, I'm tired, and JUST got Datura to fall asleep.
Now it's your turn to do something for the children!"

And Caleb does, just that, changing Markos's diaper.
Afterwards he surprises his husband with a kiss, not that Kaki's complaining.

Say what you will about their, for a lack of a better word, turbulent marriage, but they do love each other.

If you think that'll stop Kaki from wanting to broaden his horizons and find a new love after things went south with that worm-not-to-be-named, you're in for a disappointment.
He also wants to be nice to Vladislaus for some reason, so why not invite him over and see what happens?

Vladislaus doesn't really have that many friends either, as it turns out, despite him giving plasma fruits away for free whenever the vampire community increases, so he runs over to Kaki's (…and Caleb's) house in a matter of seconds just in case they would change their mind and revoke the invitation.

You can tell Vladislaus is not used to being a good guest, because after some meaningless chatter he goes to the "nursery" and….

"What the..? How DARE you destroy Datura's dollhouse!" Kaki cries, and turning a disapproving frown directed at his sister-in-law, whom he decides needs to go one way or the other, says with a wobbling voice, "how can you just sit there without doing something about this?"
That selfish little…! 🤬

Kaki manages to swallow his anger, for the time being anyway though he is hardpressed to forgive and forget any of this, and attempts to get to know Vlad a little better.
The vampire is also a loner, which suits Kaki perfectly.
However, turns out Vlad is asexual which wasn't what Kaki had in mind when he invited him over.
'Okay, no point in future invitations, since the guy's basically useless to me now. Good to know…'

After that revelation Kaki doesn't bother with flirting.
However, just so that this won't be a complete waste of his time, he asks for vampiric training.

Unsurprisingly, Caleb chooses to dance instead of feeding Markos.
Meanwhile, Vlad joins in with some, er, dance moves..?

Some time later Caleb keep watch over his sleeping child, and appears to be bored out of his mind.

Ouch! Datura's teething. Will have to stick with milkbottles from now on…

It's been some time since Kaki and Caleb had any time for each other, so they take a break from everything and have a nice woohoo moment.

"Hey, you little terror, stop that!"
Datura, her royal Crankiness, bites any fingers she can reach, and if that wasn't bad enough, a rather unwelcome piece of news are coming Kaki's way.

Oh, no. Oh Noooo! 😱😱
Who told you two to make more babies! No one, that's who.
So how did this happen?!!!

Trying to forget about the unexpected pregnancy, Kaki gives Datura a bath.
It works for a while, until he has to tell Caleb that they're going to have a third child.
Caleb takes the news much better than what Kaki did, but on the other hand, it is not he who'll have to carry the baby for those long months or give birth.
Also, it is doubtful Caleb will want to take any kind of responsibility for this new baby at all, considering his behavior until now. 😒

Kaki attempts to have som quality time together with his daughter, and joins in playing with her dolls.

When he gets too tired to play with her, he gifts Datura a stuffed triceratops that Datura names Cera.
It's her new favorite toy. 🥰

Months later….

Oh! Datura fell asleep almost immediately! That bird mobile really did work.
It's a good job, that, because Kaki will soon reach his third trimester.

Kaki is asleep and yet he notices Markos is crying, and his instincts tells him to do something about it…
meanwhile THIS douche is doing absolutely nothing, and doesn't care.
Well, you may love getting your husband pregnant, but you don't care much for your kids, do you.

Umm, yeah, when Caleb came rushing in with the speed as though he had hell's hounds at his heels, you'd think it's because he's concerned.
But no. He just wanted to dance.
I don't think Kaki is very impressed with your parental skills. 🙄

Ok, I think I get it now.
Caleb's only here to be a 'fun time dad', leaving all kinds of responsibilities to Kaki.
How thoughtful…. 😑

Since Datura's playing with the dollhouse, Kaki decides to watch her and read his book about vampires.
He's close to leveling up.

"Since the little one's on their way, we should spend more time together with Datura," Kaki tells Caleb when he tries to sneak away.

Kaki advances to prime vampire just before it's time for Datura to go to bed.
Perfect timing, I'd say.

Caleb's had the epiphany that with this many children, he can't be a stay-at-home dad and laze around anymore.
They need a real income, other than mooching off of his sister's low wages.
The first job offer he got was as a babysitter, which he couldn't turn down fast enough.
Like, watching your own kids are bad enough, but watching somebody else's? 🤢

He finds an opening as a dishwasher, though, and while it's not the most glamorous job, it'll do for now.
He's sure he can get a raise and better position in no time.

Well, I like how you can stay positive, Caleb, even if there's nothing else I like about you…

Poor Kaki feels trapped, and like his dreams are out of his reach. 😢

He decides to do something about it and goes outside.
First things first, get something to eat. You, oldtimer! Come here…

Kaki then set his sights onto an unknown hottie.
Okaaay, Darrel's engaged and not interested.
Stage one, physical contact: Feel my stomach.

Eh, Darrel, love, you should have said no. Because now, Kaki is DETERMINED to make you his.

Kaki doesn't know just what it is about men who says yes to getting bitten without any promptings, but whenever somebody does that, he has a serious need to make them his blood banks and/or lovers.

So, while Kaki might have just toyed with the thought of having Darrel as his new "boytoy", now he's serious about it.
He has decided. It is him that'll be his next conquest.

It's too bad though, that Darrel's not as easy to charm as that Worm-Not-To-Be-Named, but Kaki's sure that he can win him over if given enough time.
So, since first attempt at physical contact worked, he goes for another more daring move.
Aaaaand score! If you just take this nice and slow Kaki, you can convince him into leaving his fiancé, you'll see. 😋

Kaki spends the next few hours trying to subtly flirt with Darrel, eventhough Kaki doesn't really know how to do subtle, and manages to make things uncomfortable on both ends, and thus abandon tthe flirting for a "friend approach" for now.
Considering Kaki didn't even want this pregnancy, he absolutely loathes that he goes into labor while he's doing his best to charm his target.
"Say, why are your last name Charm? So far, you're rather the opposite of that…"
Yeah, wonder why lines like that doesn't work.

Kaki walks home as fast as his sore feet can carry him, and he barely has time to get over the threshold before he's met by a familiar crying.
Is there even a point to ask where Caleb is at this point?
He's off being useless, as usual.
Eventhough he's in labor, Kaki still puts Datura above everything else.
About time somebody does.

What is it with Kaki's obsession of reading books instead of giving birth??
Just like when he gave birth to Markos, it looks like Kaki will have to give birth at home without his husband's support.
Not only can Kaki not give birth at the hospital since he had Datura because of Caleb, the rotten scumbag can't even be bothered to be by his side for this.
How Kaki can ever forgive this neglect only the gods knows.

Kaki is giving birth… and he also happens to dislike the song currently playing on the radio.
Unsurprisingly, it is one that Caleb likes. 😐

"Oh, look at that! Another son."
Say hello to Martius, the third, and hopefully last of this generation.

Caleb's busy doing nothing, and soon child services will take Martius away due to no one feeding him (Kaki's having a long overdue nap).
It's a good job Auntie Lilith's around to prevent that.
What would your exhausted brother-in-law do without you?!

Now that he's gotten fit again after the last pregnancy, Kaki decides to end his woohoo partnership with Caleb, which saddens Caleb, and immediately gives him a passionate kiss.
"Just because we're no longer woohoo partners, doesn't mean we can't woohoo."
Hearing that, somehow, makes Caleb feel better.

Meanwhile, Markos are having his first birthday.
"Look! See how big your little brother has gotten," Caleb tells his daughter with a broad grin, as though it was thanks to his efforts.
Which, Kaki thinks inwardly, it really wasn't.

While tending to Markos, Kaki notices that there's a stranger standing by the front door.
Although he doesn't know who the fellow vampire is, he decides to chat for a while, to find out what kind of person he is and whether he is a suitable future partner.
Kaki thinks he'd rather not date this Kiyoshi who also appears to be have a romantic streak, but thinks starting off with friendship would do no harm.

First time Caleb's actually holding Martius in his arms, so it sort of makes sense that Kaki is not awake to see it. 😶

Now, this is something that came out of nowhere.

Of the three adults in the Aurelius/Vatore household, you got the idea that Lilith was the most stable one.
Something that appears to have built up during the few years Kaki has known her is that Lilith has completely lost control over her feeding rituals, and will attack people savagely no matter who they are.

Such a person can clearly not be trusted to be near children, and so, Kaki told Caleb to do something about it.

"She's my sister."
"Yes, and I am your husband, and what's more, I alone have a say in all things regarding clan matters!"

Who knew Kaki would finally stand up for himself? 😮
"She clearly cannot stay in the house, but, in favor to you, since she didn't ask to be this way, she can stay on the premises, as long as she can do no harm."
"How can we be sure of that," Caleb despairs, "we can't keep watching her 24/7. I have a job, and you're busy with the kids."

Glad you asked…
The only solution was to build a facility where Lilith will spend the rest of her days imprisoned.

"Caleb, a new rule for the Aurelius's: Men only are allowed in the household, the women have to be born into the family for access to the mansion.
We cannot have a reapeat of this tradegy."

It sounded a bit harsh, in Caleb's opinion, but it's not like he cared that much about what future generations would think.
It didn't affect him directly, so why should he care about it?

He later visited his sister, to check up on her.
Either he is a coldhearted sod who can leave her like that and not fighting for her, or he actually is thinking of someone else for a change and only wants what is best for her. 🤔

Well, if you do care about your sister, perhaps you could convince Kaki to spend a few simoleons to get better wallpaper and some furniture for Lilith, and something to eat to stave of her lust for blood?
She's been starving for days now.
I get that it's some sort of rehabilitation/punishment, but that's just cruel. 🙁

Now this is a rare treat, Kaki's turning a woman into a vampire!
He usually doesn't sire people, but he felt, "well, I've got nothing better to do, and just taking their blood is no fun. Might as well spice it up a bit."

Later at home, Datura can't, or rather, won't fall asleep, and demands hugs and affection.
Sure, Kaki can do that.
Might as well feed her before putting her back in her crib though, and perhaps then she'll be able to sleep throughout the night.

After work, Caleb visits Lilith again.
She seems pretty calm at the moment, but Caleb doesn't take any chances and make doubly sure that he's locked the door before heading back to the mansion where the crying of Markos's waiting for him.

Time goes by fast, it sure does.
Kaki thinks it seems like the other day that Martius was born, and soon it'll be his first birthday.

Feeling tense and depressed, Kaki goes outside.
He still hasn't made any progress with Darrel as of yet, but today, his focus is set on somebody else.

Kaki hasn't talked much with Geoffrey, but he finds himself enjoying the talk about sports, and then, since Kaki doesn't want to be trapped in one single relationship forever, and he doesn't really give a hoot that Geoffrey's married, he tries to give him a present.

Oh, I'll be…! surprisingly enough, considering the fact that Kaki's married to Geoffrey's enemy, he not only seems to like the gift, he also has one for Kaki.
'My heart leaps when you are near. I love you more and more each and every day', the card says.

Eh, Geoff… you have barely spoken to Kaki before, so how can you love him?

Oh, my! Is that why you show up everywhere when Kaki is outside sans Caleb?
Color me surprised! 😶

Question is though, what Kaki'll do about this new piece of information.

"You know, you are a bit more muscular than I thought," Kaki murmurs, taking it slow so that the prey won't get away, "Have you been working out?"

Hmm, time to attack. And Kaki does.
The first kiss went so well that while caressing Geoffrey's cheekbone, he pops the question: "You. Me. Boyfriends (you better say yes!) ? 😘"

Geoffrey hugs Kaki, and can't say "yes" fast enough, beaming at his new boyfriend.

Don't know what I love more about this, that both guys are married with children, or that Kaki's pretty much committed the ultimate betrayal.
Hooking up with his husband's archnemesis. 😂

Too early to say what Kaki really thinks about his new boyfriend, but I have the distinct feeling that this has more to do with his marriage to Caleb than anything else. 😇
