Secondly, I can see how that would become a problem. It's not an issue I've encountered myself so I've never tried looking for a solution for it. There seems to be a couple of mods that reduce the time that sims are sad like the "Balanced Death Moodlets" mod, but they haven't been updated in ages and I don't like recommending or suggesting mods that might be outdated, not working properly and could cause problems with the game.

I know that in the past, certain furniture and similar items you could get in buy mode or from careers could affect the sims' emotions and the combinations could get pretty powerful. I'm not sure if that has changed or if it can over-power the sadness mood from a death, but that might be worth looking into?

There is an Aspiration reward you can buy with your sims' aspiration points called "Moodlet Solver" that instantly removes all negative moodlets from the sim that drinks it. That should include sadness (I don't recall ever using it myself) and would remove the mood right away. The only problem is that you need one potion per sim every time someone dies and it costs 500 aspiration points so it can get expensive over time.

I've seen youtubers use a form of mod where they just click on the moodlet to make it dissaper, unfortanetly i dont know the name tho. I think it may be the u.i cheats mod and then a cheat in it. I'll try to do some researchs and come back if I get any wiser!
